Top Of The Rock Lookbook // Long Blazer

Hubby and I are lucky to have friends and family in NYC, we're able to see and experience the city like the locals do. The downside is that we don't get a chance to do a lot of the tourist activities. This visit, I made sure to  see the Rockefeller Center and Top of the Rock. The views were epic and if I were a New Yorker, I would frequent this landmark. The weather was perfect and  we went on a weekday to ensure the tourist crowds were minimum. LONG BLAZER OVERCOAT  // sz XS [SIMILAR 1, SIMILAR 2] • ANKLE BOOTS // sz 6 • GIRLFRIEND JEANS // sz 25 • ANKLE BOOTS // sz 6 • CROSS BODY BAG • MIRROR SUNGLASSEST3 Micro

At Top of the Rock, you're able to see 360 views from Upper Manhattan to the tip of the island peninsula, Brooklyn in the east and New Jersey in the west. The price per ticket is around $36 with option to get VIP or upgrade, to come back at night to see the city lights. Be sure to go early and grab breakfast in one of the many eateries on the lower floors. Don't forget to grab a cup of joe and sit at the steps of the Rockefeller center and people watch [my favorite pastime!]. Nearby, if you're interested in catching a live show, there's also Jimmy Fallon and the Radio Music Hall.

For my OOTD, I specifically got this overcoat/long blazer for my trip. Walking around the city, I saw the same exact ensemble everywhere! I definitely got the memo before my visit. Everyone was in ankle boots too! Blocked heel and comfortable for walking around town. It comes in tan and maroon too - HERE. Be sure on your walk that you pack light, no one likes a sore shoulder from lugging around a huge tote. I packed the essentials in a little crossbody clutch

I swear, sky high views never get old and other places that compete with this is Montemarte in Paris and Santorini. Next time I visit, I definitely plan on coming back to the same exact spot. Trust me, photos are great, but being there in person is better! Be sure to check it out and let me know what you did on your trip!
