While we’re in this transition between “too hot to wear a parka and too cold to wear just a sweater”, I pulled out my leather jacket that’s perfect for this ambiguous weather. What I love about it is how I can literally wear it with anything and it looks great – you can say it’s a chameleon piece.
This jacket is fitted with an asymmetrical center zip and polished zipper pockets.. It has faux button lapels and a bottom waist belted buckle. I love how light the material is so that I can wear a sweater underneath and I don’t feel overheated [I like to wear layers, especially during cold weather, this way you can take off the layers in case you get too hot].
I love pairing casual outfits with dressy heels. It’s a perfect balance! Yes, I can wear this outfit with sneakers or even flats, but notice how it can look too casual? You need a piece that adds flare and for me it’s heels [even better if it’s also an accent piece like the pretty maroon color]. I finished this look with my favorite pair of distressed jeans [I like a few holes here and there but I’m definitely a ‘less is more’ kind of girl]. I styled the jeans by rolling them up to my ankles and as a result showcasing my pretty pumps and making my stature appear slender and taller.
I hope you found this post helpful, what seasonal transition pieces/outfits do you like to wear? Let me know in the comments below!
