Summer is just around the corner and our first trip of the season was to Ann Arbor [see the adventure post HERE]. We stayed at this adorable boutique hotel that was every bloggers photoshoot backdrop dream! So of course before I could venture out into town, I had my handsome insta-hubby snap a few photos of my very colorful vacation ensemble.
First, let’s talk about this kimono from Angie, it such an eye catcher full of rich popping colors from electric blue and neon, to hot pink. There is no single pattern but a cross between bohemian and aztec. I linked a few similar kimonos that have an array of eye-popping colors- HERE, HERE, and HERE [all between $20-$40]. I love the flowy feel, especially since it was hot outside. Plus, with all the colors combined in one piece – you can literally wear this with anything.
Vince is one of my favorite designers [you can tell by the multiple pieces I own] so it’s no surprise that I would boast about these perfect storm-blue suede sandals. The moment I discovered these, my eyes fluttered and there was no purchase hesitation after I saw they were by Vince! I love the jute platform with it’s 2.5-3 inch height, which is perfect for walking [I have another pair that is more of a wedge – HERE]. The storm-blue suede feels so soft and it’s accented with a matte buckle ankle strap. Just because there wasn’t a size smaller than a 6, didn’t mean I was going to let them go. As you can tell I refused to part with them [they were also on sale (!), usual retail price $295]. They also came in suede army green / suede flint / leather black / leather plaster. Go get a pair while supplies last, you won’t regret any Vince purchase!
