Summer has gone with the wind and now we’re transitioning into my favorite season! One of the must haves during this labile weather of hot and chilly days is this maxi skirt [SIMILAR, SIMILAR]. Honestly, I wasn’t a fan of the maxi until I realized how versatile of a piece it was. It was quite chilly in the morning and eventually warmed up by mid-afternoon, however, I didn’t even notice it while all covered up! I’m never in homeostasis and usually extremely cold or hot, so being layered can be bothersome especially when the weather changes during the day. Knowing that this skirt and all its fabric can be worn on any type of weather has won me over!
I wore this skirt with my favorite espadrilles [also seen here], they made quite a pair as I danced around. This skirt was perfect for pirouettes and arabesques, as you can tell by my pictures. I love the pleated details, light fabric, and bright color! It’s a fun piece that I can casually wear with my Zara blouse [also seen HERE] or dress it up with gold strap sandals and lace top to an event. Another way to style this maxi skirt [SIMILAR, SIMILAR] is with a cami silk shirt tucked in or even tied to the side [yes, 80s style], either way you’ll be blown away by this piece, or at least inspired to do a little twirl or two.
